You can totally adopt minimalist tendencies in your lifestyle and fill your home and wardrobe with color. Yes, minimalism definitely has its root in art and often people who are attracted to it as a lifestyle also cherish simple forms, a monochrome color palette, and stylish, but equally functional products – but this is not a rule. These two things are not necessarily interrelated, though people often assume they must go hand in hand. As much as I like and can identify with ( most parts of) minimalism, I’m equally drawn to the aesthetic side of it.
